LADIES UP

As 8 out of 10 businesses fail within the first 18 months we wanted to start making a huge change so we created our own movement: Ladies Up. 

We get it, motivation isn’t the issue, it’s the fact that no one has ever run a business before so we took the education into our hands and delivered one epic weekend event covering absolutely everything you need to know in order to start a business.

Over 2 full days we got 10 experts in their field flying in from all over Australia to teach 60 women how to do everything from law, accounting, PR, marketing, sales and the list goes on it was a weekend that blew so many women’s minds away!

 

BUSINESS FOR DOCTORS CONFERENCE

400 guests, 90 workshops, 3 keynote speakers, 40 exhibitors, and 40 presenters over 3 days.

With an incredible Cocktail party to launch this event each day was even better than the first and the Gala Dinner was definitely the icing on the cake. We were thrilled to be the event planners for such an incredible week long event.

AWIC

As you may or may not know the women in the construction industry is very limited compared to the men so the incredible Amanda Barlow created the incredible Awesome Women in Construction group to allow women to network and share their experiences.

So for International women’s day we worked hard planning and styling a large cocktail annual charity luncheon supporting Youngcare. Along with several prizes for Silent and Live Auction, we organised an incredible feast and a dessert buffet not to be missed.

 

EY GALA DINNER

Each year Ernest and Young have a themed event for 400 guests to celebrate their accomplishments throughout the year!

This year the theme was Ancient Greece and we needed to pull together all of the entertainment and styling to align with this. And boy did we have fun! We created an interactive olive oil tasting theme our in the foyer along with greek theming throughout with the statues and olive branch trees throughout the perfectly chosen venue: Brisbane City Hall.

 

10 X 10 Charity Event

Imagine Shark Tank. Well this event is a similar concept. We bound together with 10 incredible other committee members 3 Charities: Alive, Rise Up and A Brave Life.

Each guest is to pay $100.00 and is given 2 tokens, in which they can donate their entry fee to.

With each speaker pitching their charity everyone is a winner. What an incredible night this was.

 

PRECIOUS WINGS

Each year thousands of Families lose children under the age of 18 or have miscarriages. This Charity delivers memory boxes to these bereaved families in the hospitals so that they do not go home empty handed. This was our second year in a row working with this Charity to produce their quickly sold out Annual Gala Luncheon.

Hosted by B105’s those 2 girls it is an event that causes many tears, laughter and raises enough money for the charity to keep going throughout the year.

This Charity event is like no other with 7 streams of donations on the day from auctions to items sold it is an intensive day with many rewards.
